I have been practicing for over 20 years, treating different musculoskeletal conditions from auto accidents to sports related injuries as well as chronic aches and pains. My approach is find it, fix it, maintain it. Or better yet, prevent it. The key is to listen to the patient first. After all you know your body better than anyone. Through a complete and comprehensive history and examination and diagnostic testing when necessary, we can find the root cause of the problem together. My treatment consists of manual manipulation of the spinal column and other skeletal regions. I love adjusting extremities and other joints as much as I love adjusting spines!

Catherine Nghiem-Shum LAc, DC

Dr. Cathy is the newest member of our team. She is a licensed Acupuncturist with a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has been in practice for over 20 years. She is experienced and we are so happy she has joined us in practicing natural healing medicine. If you have never tried Acupuncture, I highly recommend it. Combined with Chiropractic, and/or Massage, or all on its own, Acupuncture is one of the most effective ways to rid your body of many ailments.

Meet The Yogini
Nirel Salazar
Nirel is a second-generation Filipino-American and yoga teacher who specializes in Restorative Yoga, a yoga practice of stillness, release, and rest. Through her own experience with impostor syndrome, mental fatigue, burnout, and depression, Nirel learned that there was more to wellness than trying to fit in 8 hours of sleep in every night. Yoga taught her that wellness is multifaceted and inspired her to share her knowledge and experiences through teaching others. Nirel incorporates traditional Chinese medicine philosophy and Reiki techniques in her offerings and utilizes singing bowls to further encourage release and relaxation. Her mission is to provide an opportunity to explore, craft your own personal yoga practice, and reconnect with yourself.
